Romos responds:

Thank you so much! :)

the beginning is really interesting and atmospheric, altho you could use something like an uplifter at certaint parts such as 0:15 to make the beat flow better, its actually not bad, did you join Newgrounds recently?

Ceevro responds:

SUCCESS! Someone finally said my sound was right! That's been the bane of my musical existance for some time now. First it was being too quiet, which I managed to fix...then I was topping-out the mic and clipping...then I was getting background noises...then my EQ was off...

I feel like I've taken a university-level audio-technician course over the past couple months. I have to hand it to you folks at NG - I wouldn't have been able to make this happen without all of you.

To answer your question, though, I use a pre-made drum beat instead of a click-track when I record my loops. All of this was live played into a condenser mic, just like I said here. I did the percussion on my guitar, the guitar case, and an aluminium can. Played the rest on my guitar. Solos were improvised. As to binding it all together...first I record everything absolutely dry. No FX whatsoever. When I've got the sound mostly where I want it to be that way (several takes, oh there are many takes), I start tweaking the individual music tracks with FX, until it's the way I like it. After that, I always make sure to put a slight reverb on the master track, because if all the tracks are hit with one effect, it makes it sound like it's all in the same room.

That's really all there is to it, besides making sure I tweak my EQ...in this case, I had to boost the bass to make a guitar sound more bassey, and lower the ultra-high treble to clean up some of the base-static coming through the mic and take down some of the harmonics coming through the lead guitar.

And Jack's a doughnut, I got a track, ya know?

so chill n3n, not too intense, chillstep for the win, keep it up.

Azhthar responds:

I always wanted to see some giant dancing elefants juggling on a monocycle, but I didnt have the luck, yet ;( If I manage to find some I will definitely write some music for them. Then I feel like Stravinsky when he wrote his Circus Polka for a young elefant :)

love the atmosphere this song brings, beautiful work, awesome melody, drop felt a little minimal but thats fine, its still very enjoyable, the beginning synth, i love that <3 intense.
