oh maan, this gets me those Nostalgia feels when i played Final Fantasy back in the day, those songs in the game were something i never forget, i get that same nostalgia feeling from this, amazing work sir! best of luck in the competition.

Thanks a lot ! Actually, I spent so much time playing to Final Fantasy games when I was younger, I'm almost sure my music is sometimes influenced by Uematsu's work for these games.
But actually, for this one, I think it's closer to Log Horizon's soundtrack, which had a very similar pace - Log Horizon (season one, I haven't seen the second one yet) is one of my favorite animes because of its general atmosphere, and the soundtrack really contributes to it ("Minori To Touya" or "Akiba no Machi" are good examples). Although my track is not as complex composition-wise and perhaps slightly more melancholic, I think the inspiration came from there, so I'm pretty sure you may like the tracks I mentioned ;)

love the energetic beat, always a good feeling when i hear those arcade beeps and what not : ) awesome tune, interesting melody and progression through out the song, good luck in the competition.

Thanks man, glad you dig it! Crispy-massive is definitely what I was going for; glad that ended up being the result.

NyxTheShield responds:

Hahaha thanks <3 The pad is in fact a reversed flute with a looooooooooooot of reeverb :3

really nice melody work, all the sounds are really clear, ah that crispyness :D love cinematic pieces, i got few myself, im getting nostalgy feels from this from back when i played runescape, love this, definantly keep working on more, cinematic songs are much appreciated here in Newgrounds, doesnt have too much noises to muffle the main melody up, sometimes simplicity is beautiful, great job.

Ioplop responds:

Thank you so much for your review, I'm glad you liked it even though the song doesn't incorporate many voices or different instruments. I'll definitely keep working on making songs like this one. Thanks a lot again :3

hey whats up, the beepy melody is great, try to add something in the background like an atmosphere of a soundscape to make it more impactful, also the kicks, the kicks feel really weak, it doesnt feel like the melody is riding with the kick, almost feels like the drum is just an background noise beside the melody, this isnt that bad i've heard worse stuff on Newgrounds this aint bad :) keep it up and work on your drums and the way you build your song, let me know if you post a new song, id gladly hear how you've improved.

Orboscar responds:

Thank you! I will :)

again, this feels a little repeative but i love the robot "yaow" bass thing, feels like it really suits the song, the bass thats going with the robo voice sounds quite rough "sand paper-ish" kinda rough for the lack of a better word, this is pretty cool, when i listen to this i kinda want it to be a soundtrack of "Meat Boy Game" :D would fit it so well, work on some bass variations, im sure you can execute great wobbles like this with some variations to them n__n keep it up and keep learning bruh, challenge yourself with new techniques.

p.s. > the open hat at 0:43 scared the shit out of me
p.ss > it was pretty clear that this song was a big improvement compared to the other one you sent me, which is a good thing, you're clearly showing improvement, sent me more stuff when you make new beats, i wanna hear how you improve :) !!

optimize responds:

thankyou a lot i value the feedback

this feels quite experimental to me, the bass is too repeative and the synth hurts my ears a little, but i could easily see this being made into an awesome song, the transitions is something you could work on this song, just put a simple raise FX on just before the beat changes/drop hits like in dubstep and house songs u know, theres that slick wooosh or a raising beep noise as the song is about to drop, experiment with those and find or make one you feel like to suite this song, even tho i usually start my reviews a little negative i like to end up on a positive note, the song isnt bad its just missing a few parts and im sure it can be made into an awesome tune, keep it up.

optimize responds:

ok i will try thankyou

the kick feels really muffled up, but it has this weird feel to it i cant quite put my finger on, really like that, love to hear something a little different, this sounds great coming from a subwoofer btw, try it out guys! keep it up.
